Cookie Policy

• Sign-in session — your authentication session is stored in your browser by our authentication provider so that you stay signed in across page refreshes and navigation. Clearing it signs you out.
• Security tokens used during sign-in and password reset to prevent tampering with those flows.

These cannot be switched off while you are using an account, because sign-in cannot work without them.

• Theme preference — remembers light or dark appearance.
• A short-lived flag that plays the entrance animation once after you sign in.
• First-time tour state, so the welcome walkthrough is not repeated.

These are stored locally in your browser, contain no identifying information about you, and are cleared when you clear your browser storage.

None. StudentHub does not include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Clarity, Mixpanel, PostHog, Plausible, Amplitude, advertising pixels or any other third-party tracking script. The usage figures in the private admin area are counted from our own database, not from a tracking service.

Some features load content from other companies, which means those companies receive a request from your browser and may set their own cookies:

• YouTube — embedded lesson videos on library topic pages. Videos are embedded through youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
• Google — when you use “Continue with Google”, your browser goes to Google's own sign-in pages.
• Razorpay — loaded only on the Pro checkout when you start a payment.
• Google Fonts — the site's typefaces are requested from Google's font servers.

These companies' own cookie practices are governed by their own policies.

Because the site currently uses only strictly necessary and functional storage, and no analytics or advertising tracking, there is nothing non-essential to ask consent for, so we do not show a consent banner. If analytics or marketing tools are ever added, a consent mechanism must be added at the same time and this page updated.

Whether a banner is legally required in every country StudentHub is reachable from is a question for legal review, not something we can determine from the code alone.
